Student Travel Grants

Thanks to the kind support of Hasso Plattner Institut and Microsoft Research, the IMDM 2013 workshop will offer a number of travel grants to students that are authors of accepted papers in order to participate and present their work.

To apply for a grant:

  • The applicant must be a student and an author of an accepted paper.
  • The applicant must send an email here stating the title of the paper, his/her name, affiliation, and supervisor. The email should also contain a brief (no more than two paragraph) explanation motivating why the grant is needed.
  • Deadline for submission is August 2, 2013


    • The applicants will have to cover their own expenses for travel, accommodation, and registration. Funds for successful applicants will be distributed after the workshop. The amount of the grant is $500 USD for each successful applicant.
